Project background: FH India is implementing Elimination of Mosquito Borne Endemic Diseases (EMBED) Project with support of Godrej Consumer Products Limited CSR and in collaboration with Health Department of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The Goal of the project is to reduce morbidity and mortality due to Malaria and Dengue through behaviour change communication (BCC), community mobilization and increased access to preventive, testing and treatment services to the last mile.
Position summary: Program Associate will be responsible to support project team at district for timely execution of field operations, monitoring the quality of roll-out of project activities; liaison and coordination with stakeholders; and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Program Associate will be based at project office.
Responsibilities: • Support project team in operational roll-out. • Document learning, case studies and success stories of the project. • Compile reports on digital management information systems, prepare briefs and presentation to support project team to take decisions based on data. • Collect and analyse the data from city, municipality, and government departments to inform project on the areas that need emphasis. • Hold meetings with stakeholders including government departments, media and community-based groups including VHNSCs/ Mahila Arogya Samiti, SHGs, Youth Groups etc. • Undertake periodic and regular field visits (20 days) to support the field team to improve the quality and effectiveness of project interventions. • Undertake data quality audits, data analysis and compilation of reports for management decision making and submission to donors. • Prepare program and financial reports as and when required. • Ensure adequate use of mobile technology for real-time information to be used by project. • Prepare periodic program and financial reports as and when required. • Arrange all logistics and preparations for field visits • Any other task assigned by supervisor/ person authorized by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualification and Work experience : • Graduate degree in any discipline with 1-3 year of experience in public health projects. • Experience in data collection, analysis and documentation. • Experience in working with Vector Borne Diseases Programs and/or working with the Government/public health system is preferable.
Skills and attributes : • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and to meet deadlines. • Strong interpersonal skills, motivated, enthusiastic, analytical, innovative and creative. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills.
COMPENSATION : Compensation levels at FH India are equivalent to market rates within the development sector. However, offers shall be based on salary history, relevant experience, qualification and budgetary provisions under project.
