Elimination of Mosquito Borne Endemic Diseases (EMBED)

Elimination of Mosquito Borne Endemic Diseases (EMBED) Project, supported by Godrej Consumer Products, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Godrej Industries Private Limited; is being implemented by Family Health India in collaboration with local NGO partners and Health Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of Chhattisgarh. The Goal of the project is to reduce morbidity and mortality due to Malaria and Dengue in nine districts of Madhya Pradesh through behavior change communication (BCC), community mobilization and increased access to preventive services and mosquito repellent products to the last mile. Mandla,Dindori, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Balaghat, Sidhi, Singrauli, Bareilly, Budaun, Bastar and Kondagaon districts have been reporting higher Annual Parasitic Index (API) and are high focus districts for Vector Borne Disease Control Program in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. project details

SAMARTH

SAMARTH is an integrated community development project being supported by HDFC Bank CSR to foster livelihood opportunities for communities in Kesla block of Hoshangabad district in Madhya Pradesh through environment-friendly sustainable initiatives. Key objectives of project are to strengthen community ownership for conservation of natural resources, generate demand for low cost, renewable energy sources, develop entrepreneurship capacities of youths and engage them in locally driven sustainable sources of livelihood, improve land productivity in lasting ways through use of new ecofriendly agriculture technologies and improve uptake of primary health care and education services. project details

Youth ki Awaz (Improved WASH through youth engagement)

Youth ki Awaz project is to utilize the energy and passion of the youth to bring positive changes in WASH outcomes in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. Project focuses on youths in order to improve and promote their social status and prepare them to become leaders for bringing change at their communities through their active engagement in WASH activities, strengthen the leadership, participation in decision making process, skills development, and capacity building program. project details

SAHYOG

Under the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM) new grant (April 2021 -March 2023), HLFPPT along with Family Health India and Public Health Foundation of India as Sub Recipients are implementing the Capacity Building project with NACO. project details

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR CIVIC ACTION

Project is focused to garner civic action towards mosquito borne diseases by helping to create a bridge between communities and municipal bodies and health authorities. Under this project a cadre of 500 youth volunteers is being prepared for taking action against mosquito borne diseases. project details
