About the role:
FH India invites applications for the position of Behaviour Change Communication Facilitator (BCCF)/ Block Coordinator at Block/Sub-block level in EMBED Intervention districts of i.e. Shivpuri, Sheopur, Balaghat, Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, Bareilly, Budaun, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut and Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Bastar, Kondagoan, Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Gadchiroli and Thane in Maharashtra.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct social and resource mapping.
• Prepare cluster plans to cover all households in project area to conduct four rounds of BCC sessions in each cluster throughout the year.
• Conduct chaupals/ home visits through cluster approach of 25-30 HHs at one place or house to house visit.
• Capacity building and support to Community Volunteers to mobilize households for chaupals and other community events.
• Hold vector borne disease (VBD) awareness drives during Village/ Urban Health and Nutrition Days (HNDs).
• Support in active fever surveillance and link the patients with ASHA/Urban ASHA or any other designated health care facility for testing and treatment. Follow up of all malaria and dengue positive cases for complete treatment.
• Meet with ASHA/ Urban ASHA and Health Care Providers (HCP) for sharing information on Vector Borne Diseases and exchange of line list of fever cases tested and malaria and dengue positive cases.
• Organize training and orientation of ASHA/Urban ASHA workers and health care providers.
• Coordinate with Panchayati Raj Institution Representatives/Ward Members for Indoor Residual Spray
• (IRS), larval source reduction activities and community awareness drives / events
• Meeting with Medical Officers and other stakeholders at block and health and wellness centers.
• Maintain records of all activities conducted in field and report all data through physical report submission / online applications.
• Participate in review meetings.
• Any other task assigned by Supervisor/ person authorized by supervisor.

Minimum Qualification and Requirements :
• Minimum qualification – Batchelors in any stream
• Experience of working with community-based programs. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in community health programs.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skill in Hindi.
• Own vehicle with valid driving license and android phone is must.

COMPENSATION :

• Compensation levels at FH India are equivalent to market rates within the development sector. However, offers shall be based on salary history, relevant experience, qualification and budgetary provisions under project.
